Airframe / Engine Technician
Gloucestershire
Salary: Up to £32K plus Benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm)
An opportunity for a full-time Airframe/Engine Technician has arisen within a well established company with developing expansion plans. Our client is dedicated to providing customer service to the highest standard.
Job specification for Airframe/Engine Technician:
To undertake maintenance tasks on the aircraft under the guidance of the Engineering staff.
To keep an accurate daily time record of maintenance activities on each aircraft worked upon.
To undertake parts research and requisition from the bonded aircraft stores.
To be prepared to adjust working hours and arrangements when necessary.
Any other duties as required by the employer
On occasions, it may be necessary to work extra hours to meet deadlines, it is anticipated that the post holder would have the flexibility to be able to vary their hours to the needs and requirements of the company
Our client operates a no smoking policy on premises
Candidate Requirements:
General aviation experience on general aviation piston engine aircraft (Beechcraft, Cessna, Cirrus & Piper etc).
Be familiar with CAA & FAA Airworthiness Directive formats.
Experience with CAFAM would be preferable but not essential.
Computer literate (familiar with the use of Excel spreadsheets, Word documents)
Knowledge of how to use aircraft maintenance data (e.g. Service Manuals, Parts Catalogues & Airworthiness Directives)
Able to understand and interpret the requirements of aircraft manufacturers’ maintenance requirements
